Gordon Robison

	Gordon Robison, 69, of Hurst, passed away at 7:20 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2003 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
	Mr. Robison had retired as a truck driver from Grady Dryden Trucking Co. in Hurst after 32 years.  He was a member of Christian Church in Hurst.  Mr. Robison enjoyed woodworking, fishing and his grandchildren.  
	He was born April 13, 1933 in Thebes, the son of Loran and Stella Murray Robison.  He married Nina Lee Hicks on May 24, 1952 in Piggott, Arkansas.
	Surviving are his wife of Hurst; son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Betty Robison of Lafayette, Indiana; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Sam DeMarie of Du Quoin; son and daughter-in-law, David and Dale Robison of Herrin; daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Stephen Sloan of Galatia; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Greg Robinson of Bush; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Alan and Billie Robison of Hurst; sister-in-law, Gloria Stewart of Hurst; brother-in-law, Ralph Lohman of Steeleville and several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a special niece, Karen Hill.
	He was preceded in death by his parents;  son, Gordon Wayne Robison and brother, Clifton Robison.
	Funeral services were Tuesday, April 8 at 11 a.m. at Walker Funeral Home in Hurst with Rev. Don Colson officiating.  Interment was in Blairsville Cemetery in Blairsville.
	Friends called from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday  at Walker Funeral Home in Hurst.
